About design:
I love the design aspect that blogger allows the use to use. Personally, I think that the way you design your bog say a lot about you as a person. It allows your readers to see who you are and what you're all about just by a page view. First impressions are extremely important, especially if you're a blogger who wants a lot of followers, which as a blogger, you should.
About profiles:
I think that the way that the blogger.com profile questions are set up a lot like the way Facebook is set up. It doesn't get too personal, which is good but it allows the reader or follower to get to know you a lot better. If a follower comes upon your page and likes what they see both written and visually, they can check out your profile to learn more about the author. Through the profile, someone can learn why you write about the things you do because you list your interests including hobbies and favorite books. To someone learning about you, every little thing counts.
Blogger.com is a very cool way to express your feelings about topics in a free and interesting way.
